Weekend Fun
I've been preparing for CKU Houston which starts this Wednesday, so I've been away from my blog. Sorry about that, if anyone is actually reading! I have been blinging T-shirts, making signs for the Rhinestone CropGirls tables, finishing up SWAPs, and oh yeah, homework. In the meantime, I have been trying to pack but I keep getting sidetracked and working on other crafts so I get the supplies back out and then I have to pack all over again. Sigh, I'm not very good at this. Oh well. In the meantime, I have finished my Up and Running with Photoshop class over at http://www.jessicasprague.com/ and here are some digital layouts I completed in class. Very fun!
And then today, I did a hybrid page. The photographs were printed as a group with a fun little hurrican swirl in the middle, and then I added it to a traditional page with some embellishments. For the postcard layer, I printed my journaling on inkjet vellum (very cool stuff), then stamped with a CTMH Vintage Postcard stamp set. I cut it out and attached it with Glue Dots for Vellum (another very cool product). This was really fun.
Okay, I'm off to feed the family and head to the swimming pool. Yuck. Swimsuits. Hate the damn things.

Hi Carol, I just loved your SF LO! I am coming to SF in July (from New Zealand) and will be there for a couple of days before I am off to my 1st SB convention in Grand Rapids, then VF CKC, before traveling to SoCal to join the bus tour to CKU Provo. I have been reading your blog re Houston CKU and all the messages on the Provo/CKMB, fantastic. Hope to meet you at Provo, warm regards, Helen
