Okay, So I’m *LIVE*
I decided to make this live to the world only so that I can post some of my new digital layouts and link to them. Seems to be the thing to do. I am still not so sure about this whole blogging thing, although I love reading others... I don't know that I have anything very interesting to say, to be quite frank. I can be rather dull.
Anyway, so I'm going to post some photos of recent projects and see if I can label them.
Okay, that worked. This is a layout from my album for The Art of Becoming More with Kolette Hall. This is a very interesting class so far, really making me think about who I am, what I want and need in life, etc. Not just a scrapbooking class, its almost like having a Life Coach in your back pocket who loves scrapbooking like you do.
Another layout I just did, which interestingly, is almost the complete opposite of the above...
This layout was my attempt to follow Ali Edwards' words+photos week. The weekend challenge was to complete a layout using only words and a photo and tell a story. No paper, and a limit of one embellishment. So I did it digitally because I am also learning how to use PSE6 in an online class with Jessica Sprague. My only embellishment was the epoxy button for the date. Not bad I think. I like the large photo layout as well. Luckily, I have a large format printer at home so I was able to print this on 12x12. It turned out pretty nice actually so I will give it to this lovely girl's mom as a Girl Scout memento.
Okay, gotta run and make Mother's Day cards for my mom and grandma. We're headed to a barbecue cookout at my mom's house so the kids can all hang out in the pool.
