Just a little tag…
Isabella was at day camp today in the neighborhood. After the gym of course with Mom and me. I so do not like exercise. If it were not for the great trainers at our little gym, I would not be there. I would throw it all away in a heartbeat. I have no exercise endorphins apparently. Oh well. Anyway, shopping expedition with mom, which is always cool but usually expensive. We ordered two new mirrors for my bathroom, which will be really pretty after the painting is done. And we found a mirror for my dining room wall too. A very productive day. Then I came home, hung out in my office. Oh crap, forgot to register for Digi In Deep, have to go do that now, hold on... Okay, I'm back. Registered. Whoo hoo. More digital stuff to learn.
So, here's a hybrid project. I got the idea from a recent issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
The birthday hat is from Artchix Studio. Very cool place. The background paper is digital. I changed the colors just a bit to match the birthday hat and added a swirl brush on top. Then I printed. I inked a grungeboard flourish, nothing fancy, just ink. Then I used Glossy Accents to adhere it to the lined paper. I cut around the outside edge of the flourish using my craft knife. Then I adhered that to the printed tag. Trimmed the edges, added a grommet with my Crop-A-Dile. Done. Goodnight.
