June 18 – Create a Rock Star Box

"Mom, can you make me a little box to take to Greene camp?"

"Sure honey, what do you want to put in it?"

"Well, JUST for Shabbat, because Shabbat is special, I was hoping to take some lip gloss and a little bit of blush to wear, like the older girls."

"You promise only to wear a little bit?"

"Oh I promise Mommy. I know its only for special."

"Okay, what do you want the box to look like?"

"Anything cool and rock star please."

Do you think this is rock star enough? For an EIGHT YEAR OLD????? Holy cow.

So I scraplifted this from Tim Holtz' February Technique Challenge. This was fun, I happened to have some wire hanging around so I could even do the wire stitching. Loved that part and will have to try it again on something else. Love love love the grungeboard. This stuff is so fun.

I'll finish the box tomorrow night and post it before we head out of town for the weekend for her birthday.
