The next ones were created using digital products from Tami Miller. I love her designs and she's got her new shop open at Scrapbook Bytes. She's going to be adding a lot of kits over the next several weeks so check it out.

I don't know why my photos are blurry. I obviously had the camera on the wrong setting, but you can get the general idea since I'm lazy and don't want to go back outside and take them all again.

This project is based on a Carol Wingert class. If you subscribe to her mailing list, she will let you know when she has a new kit. And these kits are different because they are JUST PDF instructions and a supply list. Super cheap and you can use your own supplies. Carol's project had a gorgeous glass bottle on the front wrapped in linen and tulle. But mine was FREE except for the instructions because I had everything I needed in my craft room, including the red heart ornament that I've been hanging on to for four years. It was just waiting for the right project. I didn't even know I was going to use it until the last day I worked on the project. I was still thinking I needed a glass bottle, I looked up, and there was the heart on my shelf. Done.

The inside has a pocket on the left, and I want to thank Susan, from the January crop, for cutting the butterflies for me with her Cricut. The rest of the project is a mini-album on rings, attached to the back side of the old book cover. I love this idea and will do this again and again, I think.

These first three are projects I made using printable images from Paper Street. You purchase and download and use for whatever personal projects you have. They have some really cute stuff too.

This last project is a wall hanging for my home office (I sell real estate). The houses are made from Alisa Burke handcut stamps, on cardstock and text paper. Scott made the frame for me from house trim. I really love it.

I covered each little house with Graphic 45 paper from the 8x8 stack. These papers are awesome because the entire pattern is shrunk, it worked great on each of these houses, which are only about 3 inches across the front. Here's some closeups.

The doors, shutters, and tops of the chimneys have Distress Stickles in Rock Candy smeared on them, to add a little contrast and sparkle. This house has the Cheshire cat on the roof, waiting patiently for Alice to come wandering by.

Here's the Queen of Hearts, Graphic 45 style, and I love the paper on the house above her head, with all the little clocks. Just gorgeous.

And finally, Alice herself, with her witches' hat and her broom. She's quite beautifully drawn and I knew I wanted her somewhere on this wreath.

These will eventually get mailed to Princess L's grandmother. I think she will like them.

This was fun because I made a digital overlay for my photo before printing it and that became my primary title. For my secondary title, I used my Dyno Label maker on a strip of cardstock. I ran it through and then sanded it to make the white core of the paper stand out.

Fun stuff people.

So, the thing I like the most about this layout is the little mini-book attached for hidden journaling. Its not too thick, it will fit inside a page protector. But its got several little pages for me to write "love notes" to my girl. Someday, she will slip this page out of its protector and be able to read some of the thousands of things that made me love her at this moment in time. She will love that. And so I love it.

So today, I've got a treat for you.

First, a couple of projects I created using the new buttons I received.

This sits on a shelf in my craft room and I love the cheerful, bright button mix with the black and white photo.

And this one.

The flower buttons were calling out for a garden theme. This collage-style piece was fun to make and makes me smile when I spot it in my craft room.
