Last Tuesday night, I attended an appreciation banquet for Girl Scout leaders and volunteers. My leadership involvement for our geographical area has diminished as I focus on my own individual troop and the rest of life has gone nutty, but I still enjoy getting together with the wonderful ladies who keep everything running as smoothly as can possibly be done in a huge, bureacratic, non-profit, volunteer-led organization. So when banquet time came around, I volunteered to make some party favors for the attendees. When I found out the theme was a luau, I laughed out loud because that was just serendipitous! Thanks to Scrap N'Art, I had JUST received stamps from Bombshell Stamps, and my stamps were Hawaiian-themed. Too weird. So I made these tags with little bags of M&M's attached to the back. I think everyone liked them. Or atleast I know they liked the M&M's!

Edge Punch from Fiskars;
ribbons and office tags from my stash

  1. Carol, those are SOOOO cute!! It must have taken a long time for you to color each one of those. Love that wavy punched tag border!

  2. Hi Carol! Thanks for dropping by my blog! And thanks for the tip about the Rhinoceros beetle – No I didn’t know they are the strongest on the planet! Gotta go tell my kids! Cool!
