Honest Scrap Award and Other Good Stuff

So, I got tagged with an Honest Scrap Award from my friend Sherrie. I am supposed to list ten truths about myself and then pass this along to others. So here goes.

1. I love chocolate chip cookie dough from a tube. Or in squares. Or homemade if time allows. And I don’t like to bake cookies.
2. I have become somewhat addicted to Super Mario Brothers for the Wii. I kinda sorta knew I could easily become a game junkie, but didn’t realize how easy it would be. I have recently caught myself laying in bed at night trying to figure out how to get a certain gold coin from a certain difficult place in a certain difficult level.
3. I love to read. Until recently, I spent lots of money on books. Almost as much money as I spent on craft supplies, but that’s an entirely separate issue. Now, we are making a library trip every couple of weeks and I have to limit the number of books I check out because if I get all the books I want to read, I will neglect my family. I don’t believe in extending my checkouts. Books must be read instantaneously upon arrival in the house.
4. I wish I had a tiny tattoo. I’m not sure where or what, but I wish I was brave enough to get one. And that would be bravery related to the pain involved as well as bravery related to the marital problems such an act would surely cause for me.
5. I hate laundry. Most of my readers already know that, but I really hate laundry. If I was wealthy, a laundress would be hired, if I could find such a thing, prior to any other help around our house.
6. I want crazy punked out hair. Sometimes. But I only think it looks cute on skinny people (no offense to anyone out there, its just an opinion) and I’m not skinny so that’s out. I would also love long, thick, Brooke Shields hair. But seriously. That’s not even possible.
7. I could eat Whataburger for lunch almost every day. A #1 with cheese and jalapenos and a diet coke. But if I did, I would never, ever get the crazy punked out hair.
8. We are saving for a travel trailer because we love to go on weekend trips. We love the quiet and the fact that it takes a really long time to make meals. And I get to read while everyone else naps or just hangs out.
9. My daughter is the light of my life. I don’t think I realized how MUCH I would love a child. I know that sounds really stupid but its the truth. I knew I would love her because she’s mine, but honestly, its like I’ve grown an entirely new heart over the past nine years and it keeps growing and seems like its going to burst in such a good way.
10. Well, I can’t think of a #10 because I’m lame. Really, seriously. Thought about it for 5 minutes. Walked away. Came back. I’m sure one I hit Post, something will come to me. Or tonight while I’m thinking up Super Mario moves, I’ll also think of a #10. But for now, I’m done!

I’m passing this award on to Danielle and Helen!

Oh Carol….number 2 made me lol because I get that way about certain games too….and well, if it weren’t for the marital problems number 4 might cause, I’d say dooooo iiiiitt! lol I have 4 tattoos (one is covered with a pretty large one on my lower back now….long, silly story about the first tattoo–I love the cover up though!). The pain isn’t that bad if you stick to a locale that has a bit of meat (bony areas hurt more), and if the tatt is small, then it’s over really quick. The one on my back was a 5 hour sitting and I survived…and get this, I’m afraid of needles! ;) You could *totally* do it! But I’m not encouraging or anything….of course, you could always tell the hubbins it’s ALL MY FAULT. ;) I’d gladly take the blame. :D
