Not Feeling Creative

Interesting. I am taking a painting class, waiting for my sewing class to start back up after the Hurricane, have a craftr oom in really great shape. And can’t think of a thing to do. I’m in a rut. I can’t believe I am going to put this in writing, but I have no photos to scrap. Okay, I have a bunch of heritage stuff, really old stuff, but I am not motivated. Ali Edwards is going to do her “A Week in the Life” album again, only online. Not the same as a class of course, but pretty cool. She’s giving prompts and ideas this week, next week is gathering week, and the next week she is putting it together. I’m going to try to follow along and participate because I think I need it. It should push me to get back into the swing of things with my camera. I’m in a rut. Need to climb out. Don’t feel real good but that’s really just an excuse I think. Sigh. Okay, enough rambling. I’ll be back soon. Promise. But in the meantime, here’s some photos I took in Galveston today. I had to go down and check on a house for one of our clients. Its standing. Needs a new ground floor, but its standing.
Now this is attitude. I like it.

And this is a boat in the middle of the highway. There is an entire row of them on one stretch of the highway. I’m guessing they washed in from the nearby boat docks. Glad I didn’t buy that boat and beach house with my extra millions a few months ago.

    Hello neighbor,
I’m in the organic background class with you. On flicker I’m Zissa. And I’m from San Antonio.
I know it’s hard to create right now with all that is going on. With the economy and the hurricane but hang in there and I’m sure you will get your mono back soon.
