Fish Sticks Anyone?

Yesterday, Scott and Varren, our nephew, decided to go down to San Luis Pass to fish, even though it was overcast and rainy. Isabella and I decided to go along for the ride. When we got there, I set up *camp* with some shade and a cooler, the guys headed over to the pier and Isabella played in the sand and on a boogie board. Isabella got kinda bored and decided to go check out the pier. Once Varren caught a fish, it was all over. She asked for a fishing pole and got to it. By the end of the day, she was the Fisherman of the Day with the largest fish caught. And I was just glad I got to sit and read the entire afternoon. It was truly a great day.

Now I'm baking chocolate chip cookie bars to take to our friends' house this evening. We're hanging out, having hotdogs or whatever she decides to fix (because honestly, who cares what it is when someone else is cooking it?) and enjoying the company of fabulous friends.
