I like this. Its a little like traveling with you. When we went to Oregon a few years back, we went down RT 66 too, through Gallup. It was Sunday, NM still has the Blue Laws – nothing is opened, even had a hard time finding a restaurant open, but certainly no stores! It seemed weird to us, but then that was they way things use to be so it was fitting to be on Rt. 66! Can’t wait to read tomorrow.

I’m so excited for you!! And travel trailers are sooooo not lame – I may be biased coming from the trailer trash community myself of course !!! I’m also exceedingly jealous you have the weather to be out there camping already – enjoy! And seriously woman – you’d have thought you would have sorted out the packing techniques in all the times you rented – not when it’s your own!! Non slip matting rocks!
