Mahalo = Thanks
Last Tuesday night, I attended an appreciation banquet for Girl Scout leaders and volunteers. My leadership involvement for our geographical area has diminished as I focus on my own individual troop and the rest of life has gone nutty, but I still enjoy getting together with the wonderful ladies who keep everything running as smoothly as can possibly be done in a huge, bureacratic, non-profit, volunteer-led organization. So when banquet time came around, I volunteered to make some party favors for the attendees. When I found out the theme was a luau, I laughed out loud because that was just serendipitous! Thanks to Scrap N'Art, I had JUST received stamps from Bombshell Stamps, and my stamps were Hawaiian-themed. Too weird. So I made these tags with little bags of M&M's attached to the back. I think everyone liked them. Or atleast I know they liked the M&M's!

I’m here.
Just been busy. With stuff like this.

And cracking jokes about the white pajamas will not be taken well, just to be clear. We KNOW they're dorky. Really. You don't have to tell us. But I will tell you, the discipline involved in putting the dorky outfit on, tying the belt properly, and walking into this place, is good for anyone at any age. And yes, we all passed our test. We're all yellow belts now. Stay tuned as we travel this journey.
Jot & Scribble
How cute of a design name is THAT? Seriously, love the name and love the products! I'm a guest creative team member for the next couple of months and so happy to have "met" Nisha, the designer. I am always checking out the black and white kits so I was so excited when I got to play with this one!
Its just beautiful and the perfect size for a layout or two! I made this one about my awesome, amazing, wonderful daughter.

I loved using a color photo with a vintage-y action on top. I think it looks great with all of the doodle embellishments of this kit. Click on the kit preview above to go to Jot & Scribble's store, or just click HERE if you're too lazy to scroll back up. Ha!
