Pretty Toes & Converse Sneakers
I love my girl who wears black Converse sneakers but wants her toes and fingers to be pretty. We had a great day. Her signature color for this visit was blue and mine was silver. Hers look almost black, which was just a thrill for her dad, let me tell you, but hey! We went with Chanukah colors so he couldn’t complain too much! Ha!
Oh. And we did leave the house yesterday. We ventured out at lunch time to see Old Dogs. The theatre was very crowded but it was worth it. The movie was HILARIOUS! A very funny, feel good holiday season movie. I promise. You will laugh.
Hope the rest of your long weekend (for those of you in the U.S.) is wonderful and filled with fun!
No commentsHappy Black Friday!
To be very clear, I am NOT leaving the house today. Except to waddle walk down to my mom’s to get my cookies that I left by mistake. And my German Chocolate Icebox Pie my mom made for me. There better be some left, seriously.
For those of you, like me, who are NOT braving the stores today, bravo! How intelligent and smart you are! There are WAY too many good deals online for me to bother heading out with the masses to buy things I don’t really want or need.
If you are shopping online today and like digital goodies, Pixel Gypsy Designs is having a store-wide sale and you can earn extra gift coupons to use later, a very sweet deal in all truthfulness.

And, since I’m home today, still in my PJ’s truth be told, I have made a couple of layouts. Here’s one about our day yesterday. I must say, my husband rocks. In so many ways. This is just one more example why I love him dearly.
Have a wonderful Black Friday. If you DO venture out into the shopping wilderness, don’t forget your combat gear!
1 commentNew Releases Today!
Hold on to your hats, readers, I’ve got several new releases today in my store so be sure to scroll down and check them all out!
If you’re a digital scrapbooker, you know that it can be difficult to find white beige cream NEUTRAL papers and elements. You might buy a kit that has one or two in it, but to have a whole set of them to choose from, with different patterns and textures was something I really wanted. So I made a set myself!
This set has 10 patterned and textured papers plus 2 shaped papers – a scalloped square and a scalloped circle. All perfect for layout backgrounds that will really make your photos pop!
This button pack has 7 vintage buttons, extracted by me, from a huge stash of buttons I got from my Grandma, my great-aunt, and their friends. I’ve included each button with and without strings. I’ve got buttons people!
For all my Jewish crafty peeps out there, here’s a kit for you. And if you’re not Jewish, that’s okay, I’ve got a couple for you too!

And for all you red and green holiday lovers, with a bit of whimsy, I’m releasing Ralph and Roxy today at PGD!

Stop by the store today because new releases are on sale each Friday and TODAY is the Black Friday Sale!
No commentsI Got RAK’d !!!
Can I just say how much I adore the blogging world? I mean, really. I have *met* so many wonderful people online. I recently found Tonia Davenport. Tonia makes gorgeous little pendants out of plexiglass. I have been stalking her blog for a few weeks now and last week, she posted this gorgeous little thing:
Well next thing you know, it’s in my mailbox and then around my neck! Seriously!!! It showed up yesterday morning in a simple kraft envelope (I adore kraft, do you think Tonia knew that somehow???) and a little bit of bubblewrap and a note. She reminded me that “all we need is LOVE”. Well darn tootin’ if she isn’t right! Lucky for me, I had on a red sweater so I put the gorgeous little thing around my neck and had a fabulous day! Cuz I got RAK’d with some love! THANK YOU TONIA from the bottom of my heart!!!
