Hello Change!
Wow. 4th grade. How the heck did we get here already???

We're not afraid of change in this house, no way! Lots going on over here and although it is not all good, its all good. We've got each other and we're plugging along and its all going to be alright.
Isabella started 4th grade on Monday. Seriously, cannot believe it. I know all parents say that, but she's my one and only and that's NOT changing, so I'm a bit in shock that it's been almost 10 years since we discovered we were pregnant and that it's been five years since we left San Francisco and moved to Houston. Time is flying by and I feel like I've missed something. Something BIG.
My job that helps pay the bills is not paying any bills at the moment. Real estate is slow. So I'm looking for a part-time job to make up some of the difference and that means going back into accounting. Not a bad thing, just CHANGE. I've got a good lead and I am hopeful it's going to work out. Cross your fingers for me, say prayers, chant, do rain dances, whatever it is YOU do for good luck, do it for me too!
Scott's job is going well at the moment. All is good on that front. Let's keep it that way, handsome.
Girl Scouts starts back up this Thursday, our troop ROCKS to be perfectly frank. The girls are THE BEST DARN GIRL SCOUTS IN FORT BEND COUNTY. And I'm not kidding. We've got a really cool year ahead of us, they've got lots of neat ideas, so that is about to take off like a rocket.
Isabella is starting Wednesday night Hebrew school next week. And softball starts in a couple of weeks. And 4th grade homework is harder already and its just the third day of school. All CHANGE. For the busier. For the tougher. For the better.
I'm making a CHANGE to my blog soon. I'm going to be a bit more organized and planned and structured, but hopefully without losing my innate goofy geek-ness that you all know and love.
I'm making a CHANGE to my relationship with Scrap N'Art. Stay tuned. Lots more fun, lots more creativity.
All in all, I'd say this is the season of CHANGE and guess what? Bring it on, baby! I can handle it! I've got the best handsome hubby, the most awesome 4th grade (!) daughter, and two cats who well, they don't help much, but they do purr and keep me company in my craft room!
Stay tuned and don't give up on me!
Yellow Bicycle is in my stores!
Okay, so I have to be honest. I {heart} this new collection. How obnoxious is that? I really do love it though and I am so excited it came together almost exactly the way I planned. That doesn't happen very often!
The Yellow Bicycle Collection is a fun collection of modern, versatile elements with unique patterns and a whimsical, slightly retro feel. You can purchase each pack separately or get the entire collection in the mega bundle. If you do purchase the mega, it includes two bonus quickpages and two bonus templates! This collection can be found in all three of my stores (links to the right over there), and for the first week it is on sale for 35% off!
