Layouts
Its been awhile since I’ve posted any layouts and I realized yesterday that I truly MISSED it. So I sat down last night, turned off my digi-design brain and turned on my digi-scrap brain. Okay, that sounds easier than it really was because they are truly mixed up together. But it did help me recharge. The first one is made with a kit from Dunia at NDISB.
This second one uses a bunch of embellishments from Helene Jole’s Pink kit. Everything in there is pink and I loved playing with it. The only embellishment not from Helene was the wings, which are from Barb Speck. Love those and I’m going to have to play with them some more. Barb and Helene are also at NDISB, so many fantastic designers in that store!
When I took all of these pictures, I wasn’t sure any of them would turn out. But this is my angel, so of course they turned out. I love everyday snapshots of Isabella. And she’s really growing into a young girl, there is no baby in my baby anymore at all! Hard to imagine that she is going to be nine this summer. Which means I’m going to be… yeah well, never mind. So that was my evening last night, having fun, relaxing with layouts. I’ve got lots of stuff going on with my designing and I have about 10 projects sitting here from Inspired last weekend, none of which are completed. I will sloooooowly post those as I get them done.
A Blog Train is coming….
It starts right here and will be full of freebies! You should probably check back every day this week so you don’t miss it…. its going to be HOT!
Outta Here!
I am off to Donna Downey’s Inspired 2009 event in NC. So excited to play all weekend AND see my bestest friend Lori. If you don’t see me online, its because I’m going hard-core, no internet, for FOUR days. Wish me luck!

So every once in awhile, you get lucky. It doesn’t happen often, just occasionally. If you’re in the right place at the right time. That’s what happened to me. I was in a contest online and “met” Biance from Project B Designs. She sent me an email that my Yahoo ignored. I never got it. Then I saw her online in a forum and sent her a message and then I found out she had really emailed me first. Anyhoo, we got to chatting and before we knew it, we had created this.
This is really gorgeous. And peaceful. And comfortable. And warm. And breezy. And oh I could go on and on. I love this kit and I loved working with Bianca. She’s great. This kit is available in all of my stores and I am just thrilled that we did it. Thank you Bianca for believing in me so early in my design career! Thank you for a fab collab!!!
Urban Gypsy
This kit was released on Saturday during National Scrapbook Day at all my stores. I really love this kit, its grungy and dark but still has some feminine edges to it. Its still on sale all this week for 35% off at all my stores. Click over there on the left to go check it out up close and personal.
There is an addon pack too, or a minikit if you want to check that out first.
And here is a layout made by CertifiedScrapaholic with this kit. I LOVE her use of the elements from this kit. She did a great job capturing the colors and the grunginess of this kit. Thank you Candy!!!
Okay, I’ll have another one to show you tomorrow so stay tuned and if you want to find out about new kits and freebies FIRST, sign up for the newsletter over there on the left! If you missed the newsletter that went out last Friday, here is the freebie that matches the Urban Gypsy kit… click on the preview and enjoy!
