Another Newsletter Already!

Oh my goodness, I did not plan this timing very well! I have ANOTHER NEWSLETTER going out tomorrow night in honor of National Scrapbook Day. There was just so much to share and I am kind ahaving fun with the whole MailChimp newsletter thing so what the heck, let’s have another one. If you are not signed up for my newsletter yet, sign up before noon to be sure you get this next one, there is a freebie in it and previews of new kits coming out on Saturday and sales, sales, sales galore!

My house is spotless, well ok, not spotless, but close enough, thanks to the hard work of my family (and me) this evening. All the groceries for the weekend with visitors are purchased. We’re having everyone here for hamburgers tomorrow night, I have to remember to take photos, I’ve been horrible this year and that’s MY job. Duh!!!

Oh, and laundry is all. caught. up. unbelievable. I know. I can hardly believe it myself. Somebody pinch me. Until tomorrow morning when everyone throws down their pajamas and the pile starts all over!

Okay, I’m out of here for the weekend! I am going to enjoy myself, take photos, wander around an arts and crafts market, drink some coffee, have a beer with my burger tomorrow night. All good stuff. Hope yours is fabulous!

Newsletter and stuff

My debut newsletter went out last night. If you didn’t get it, you can click over there on the left to sign up and get the next one! The newsletter has info about all my new stores, new products, and has freebies in it too that you might be able to find somewhere else… and you might not! Eventually, I will have special offers just for newsletter subscribers so you should check it out. My plan is to send it out a couple of times a month when I have something really important to share.

SumScrapper (over there on the left) is having their Grand Opening celebration RIGHT NOW through May 1st. Everything in the store is 45% off. We’ve got freebies for new people who register in the store. We’ve got a couple of challenges going on in the forums. We’re ready for you to fill up our gallery. Come play with us!

My stores at Divine Digital and Digital Paper Hearts are also open so go check those out too.

My plan is to get a lot done this week on some new kits because next weekend, my dad and his amazing wife, Nell, are coming to visit. My dad is an artist (he’s over there in my blog roll, see Ralph Parker) and they will have a booth at the Historic Heights First Saturday Arts Market. We are really glad they are coming to town and I’m looking forward to a few hours wandering through this cool market full of art as well as vintage goodies, antiques, all kinds of stuff.

Isabella also has a piano recital on Saturday afternoon, a special ceremony Sunday morning at religious school, and her Lemonade Day stand on Sunday afternoon. Lemonade Day is sponsored by Prepared4Life and teaches kids about starting a business, and making money. Isabella is very excited and has been working hard on her budget, marketing flyers, and other ideas. Scott made her a stand and they are painting it while I write this. At least they better be, ha!

So have a great afternoon and enjoy your weekend!

SumScrapper is OPEN

The SumScrapper shop is officially open to the public!! Sonya, the shop owner, and all the rest of us designers have been working our behinds off and are so excited. Everything in the store is 35% off this week and if you spend more than $20 there is a free Collaborative Kit for you created by Ellie, Marcie, Rhonda and Sonya. I joined the shop too late to participate in this one but I will be in the future ones, I promise!

One other thing I want to mention to help make your visit to SumScrapper a bit more pleasant. You will have to log into both the Gallery and the Forum to take advantage of all the fun we have in store for you. So to make it easier on you….you might want to use the same username and passwords. There are a couple of other forums out there like this so we know you will understand!

Our official grand opening will be this Friday, April 24th, but I couldn’t wait to show it to you since its open and ready for business!

Wow.

Life is flying by at breakneck speed right now. Dinner is getting made each day (generally speaking) but laundry is out of control. I’m spending every waking moment on this computer designing, creating, learning, having FUN. I think Scott and Isabella have most likely forgotten what I look like since the only time I leave this room is to go to work while they are at work and school. They are good sports but man, I think my brain is about to combust. Let’s see, what can I tell you?

  • SumScrapper is opening its doors on April 25th.
  • I am going to be a guest designer at Digital Paper Hearts for the month of May.
  • I have an awesome collaboration kit coming out with Bianca from Project B Designs. There is a sneakpeek in my new blog header. Check out her store, she has some gorgeous goodies in there.
  • I found out Tuesday I am going to be opening a store at Divine Digital.

So with three stores opening in the next two weeks, I am busting my behind to get the kits finished and ready.

I am also working on a newsletter so go click on that blinkie over on the left and sign up! Newsletter subscribers will be the frist to know all the digi stuff and there just might be some freebies for subscribers. My plan is to only send out newsletters once or twice a month so don’t worry, I won’t fill your inbox with more junk than necessary.

And I’m changing around a few things on the blog. Previews of my digi kits are on the left under the newsletter blinkie. I’m tossing some ideas around in my head about the blog, coming up with some plans. Maybe a bit more structure but not too much structure. This is where my fingers hit the keyboard and just start spewing all the junk in my head which is not always good for the reader but is generally good for my soul. And souls need all the goodness they can find.

Passover ends tomorrow evening and man are we ready for some bread! We’re going out for fantastic pizza which will be all the better because we haven’t had any bread for a week. Seriously, you would think we starved, which we absolutely did not. But I love bread. Its necessary. Like air. And chocolate chip cookie dough.

The NDISB blog train freebie kit is AMAZING so if you missed yesterday’s post, scroll down and read all about it. And GRAB THE GOODS. Seriously gorgeous stuff in there.

This weekend we have an all day Girl Scout event at a local camp so as long as it doesn’t pour down rain, my troop girls and my awesome daughter will get to see my face and I will take a break and have fun and take photos. The girls in our troop are incredible. I truly mean that.

Oh and yesterday was tax day. But it was cool. I had all the taxes for all the family members and my real estate business completed last week. I’m a good little accountant, yes indeed. All is well in my tax world.

Have a great day.
