One More Thing…
We had a really nice time with some friends last night. They have a daughter who is older than Isabella but the girls do great together while the grownups sit an dhangout and chat. Claire had fixed "about a thousand chicken tenders" so we were invited over to help inhale them, it worked, they are gone. Actually, Abby made the chicken tenders after trying it at our house. They were awesome - excellent job Abby! Claire is borrowing my new Star of David bundt pan to make a cake for Yom Kippur break fast Thursday evening. Glad someone will use it, now Scott can't complain that I bought it for no reason. These are seriously GOOD friends. Love them. We all get along and the guys do their guy talk thing and talk about construction and only God knows what else. But I haven't taken photos because we never have on makeup or nice clothes. Another true sign of friendship!
Ok, now I'm really going to the gym, unless I can think of somewhere else to go instead... I'm really THAT bad.
Another Update on the Honey Do List
Let's see how we're doing. Its now Monday morning... I must say we can be REALLY productive when we feel like it...
- rehanging art and towel racks and toilet paper holders after the bathrooms and bedroom got painted - moving to next weekend's list because I need to choose some new fixtures
- moving a piece of furniture out of our attic storage into the bedroom - done!
- moving a hutch I'm not using INTO the attic storage - reconsidered, might take to mom's and use at work
- sorting through crazy stuff I didn't know I had in my craft room and emptying out the closet so Scott can put in my shelves next weekend while I am at a crop (hint hint handsome hubby) - done, closet is empty, ready for shelves, everything is all over the floor but I know what it is and sorta kinda where it will go!
- Isabella cleaning her room and her homework/craft office (she loves calling it an office) - done! this kid is awesome!
- Isabella practicing piano and preparing TWO book reports (love third grade) - piano done! one book report completed
- Putting out our halloween/fall decorations - done!
- laundry - DONE, all 12 loads, don't even ask, k?
Wow... we're awesome. We ROCK. We feel good. The house looks good. Everyone is off to start their Monday's, including me. Now. To the gym. Now that's a downer. I just can't get into this, seriously hate this exercise stuff. Ok, enough bad attitude. I'm outta here!!!

- moving a hutch I'm not using INTO the attic storage - reconsidered, might take to mom's and use at work

- Putting out our halloween/fall decorations - done!
- Laundry - not done yet...
Wow... I'm going to end up printing this for my week in the life project... this is pretty cool. We'll be having spaghetti with Scott's famous homemade spaghetti sauce tonight for dinner. Yum.
Happy Friday
Shabbat shalom y'all. Having a good week taking photos. We have a LONG to do list for the weekend... here it is...
Saturday: Breakfast, Nutcracker on ice practice for Isabella, Girl Scout rally for me, tons of honey do's for the whole family to get our house in order, then dinner with a glass of wine please.
Sunday: Religious school for Isabella, more honey do's because there is no way to get through the list in one afternoon, Isabella going ice skating with her friend Clara, and a quiet dinner to get ready for the week so we can start all over.
The honey do list is a bunch of stupid, silly little projects we haven't bothered to finish in the past oh, say, 60 days. Like:
- rehanging art and towel racks and toilet paper holders after the bathrooms and bedroom got painted,
- laundry,
- moving a piece of furniture out of our attic storage into the bedroom,
- moving a hutch I'm not using INTO the attic storage,
- laundry,
- sorting through crazy stuff I didn't know I had in my craft room and emptying out the closet so Scott can put in my shelves next weekend while I am at a crop (hint hint handsome hubby),
- laundry,
- Isabella cleaning her room and her homework/craft office (she loves calling it an office),
- Isabella practicing piano and preparing TWO book reports (love third grade),
- Putting out our halloween/fall decorations,
- Laundry.
Seriously, can we get it all done? I think we can. Except maybe the laundry. I. Hate. Laundry. But I think we can do it. We rock.
Happy October
We made challah for Rosh Hashanah. It took awhile for it to rise but for a first try at homemade bread, it was very good! We all felt warm and happy inside that we made bread.
This is my nightstand, or it was until i realized how messy it was and cleaned it up this morning. Now it just has a book, although the art journal will probably go back downstairs with me this evening.
Varren came over again this evening to talk about college prep, etc. He's got a lot of work to do but man, is he a good kid. Really and truly GOOD. I'm proud, no matter what the grades are, although the grades need to come up so he can accomplish what he has in his head and heart. Love him truly.
