One More Thing…
So the phone problem back about a week ago was not our fault. I am not a dumb blonde after all, despite public opinion. Apparently, our phone lines were hit by lightening while we were out of town. So they replaced the phone lines with new ones and everything was fine. Oh, everything was SO NOT FINE. Our neighbors have been out of town and got home today. Every time my phone rings, their phone rings in their house, they pick up AND WE HAVE A DAMN PARTY LINE LIKE ITS 1950. Unbelievable. Seriously. How stupid is that? We had no clue as they were not home all last week. So now the phone people have to come back to figure out what the heck they did wrong. Maybe I can pay my neighbor to get rid of telemarketers... maybe I just won't answer and she can be my personal answering machine. Maybe its just time for me to go to bed and hope tomorrow we have our phone back to normal.
A Friend with a Gorgeous Album
So my friend Helen emailed me today and sent me the link to an album she finished. I hope she doesn't mind that I linked it up here. Its gorgeous and has so much personality. Check out her blog as she and her husband Chris travel through the US with Harvey and the Mistress.
And its only Monday.
So I got a LOT of stuff done this weekend. Yesterday, I got it in my head I wanted to make a mini-album for my mom for her birthday. Which is in September. But it was in my head yesterday so I went ahead and I made it. And I can't post it because although I don't think my mom reads my blog, she might decide to check it out because she does like my digital layouts of Isabella. And then the surprise would be blown. So I am scanning it in and saving it for September. You will just have to wait. I do really really like it and I think she will cry. So that's good.
Not So Busy and Very Busy

So the week has flown by. Isabella is back home from camp. She had a great time and took some pretty good photos. Scott and I had a relaxing, very QUIET, week without her. It was nice but we were very glad to pick her up and bring her home. She leaves again at the end of July for 12 days.
So what have I done? Lots of laundry. Painted a wall with chalkboard paint in my craft room. Finished our CA vacation mini-album tonight. Completed another digital layout.
What have I not done? Taken photos for letters A, B, C and D since July 1. I'm going to have to pass on this one. I have too many projects in my brain to start that one. As soon as my chalkboard is ready (3 days to "cure"), I am going to make a list of all my projects. Scott wants me to put the family calendar on it too, which is a great idea. And its a whole wall so I should have room.
Okay, gotta go to bed now. Its late. I'm tired. Sounds like all the illegal fireworks are over. We're going swimming tomorrow at mom's. Scott and Isabella are riding bikes. I'm going to work on some more projects. And its barely Saturday yet! Whoo hoo!
