One More Thing Before Bed…

Where oh where is my Scarlet Lime kit? Okay, so they promised to mail it by the 10th, which was a whole 2 days ago... I'm a bit impatient, it looks so lovely this month. This will be my first Scarlet Lime kit and I am SO excited. Also need to check out It Kits. They made a great stamp for our Ali Edwards album track, one for every student. Love that! Okay, I'm off to bed. Have to sleep so I can get up and start all over again tomorrow.

June 12. Today. Caught Up. Whew.

Okay. Today. I UPDATED MY BLOG. Tons of creating there. And for those of you who care, my husband finally read this thing and decided my profile was lame so HE created also by updating my profile for me. LOL. Maybe he will add posts occasionally and you can see what a wonderful lunatic I married. Seriously. No joke. Insane.

I also made another journal for a SWAP. I've got two more to go so that should get me two more days of creativity. Whoo hoo!
These journals are fun. This one is made from the SEI June Mega Kit that I just got yesterday. The paper, the ribbon, the dimensional flower are all from the kits. The clip is a CTMH Creative Clip covered in Cardstock and distressed with an Adirondack Paint Dabber. The journal tag is stamped with CTMH stamps. Oh, and the button in the middle of the dimensional flower is a CTMH clear button with a stamped image underneath. These are so easy, seriously 20 minutes and you're done.

June 11. Creativity Every Day.

Yesterday. Sheesh. So long ago. Um. Hmm. I almost finished my Ali Edwards' Evolution album from CKU. I love this album but I can't show it to you yet. Not quite there. I will save it for another day. Oh, we made fish sticks for dinner. But no photos. Dammit. I'm really bad at photographing food. It always looks really gross. Maybe with the new camera I'm getting for Chanukah I will be able to take food photos. I'm sure its the camera's fault they all turn out yucky. Uh huh. It has nothing to do with the camera user or the food preparation. Oh well.

June 10 – Creativity Every Day

Let's see. Tuesday. What did I make on Tuesday? Its already Thursday so I've forgotten. I think I missed this day too because we head to the ice rink every Tuesday for Isabella's lessons. Tuesday is ice-skating-palooza for 3 hours. Before you think I'm some nutball parent pushing her kid to be an Olympic skater, I'm not. She started skating about a year ago, she enjoys it. She asked for extra classes. I do not want to go to the ice rink more than once a week so the only way she gets more lessons is to take them all on one night. She's very happy with the arrangement. I'm happy. She gets 2 hours of cardio and a slice of pizza somewhere in the middle. Its all good.
But no creating. Oh wait. I'm creating an Olympian. Yeah. That's it. So there.

June 9 – Creativity Every Day

Okay. Monday. Back to work. We are BUSY. We got slammed this month with new property assignments so whoo hoo, that means we're doing something right. On occasion, I actually like my job. Mostly I like that I work with my mom which gives me HUGE flexibility, and I get a paycheck. Always a good thing. It pays for vacations and craft supplies. Okay, it pays for a LOT more than that, but those are the perks, I must say. So I will continue to work and continue to get a paycheck until I stop. How's that? Let's see... Monday night. More organizing of the craft room, I swear it was insane trying to get all the new goodies packed away in the desk and drawers and closet. But I purged some stuff too so that's a good thing. But what did I create? Photos. I printed lots and lots of photos like this one for albums that I need to finish that were started at CKU. Again... the mE album, now an S album in my world. Trust me, I'll give you the story when its done. Probably won't be interesting by then but maybe it will. So did I really create this photo (and about 30 others)? Yes, I took this photo a while back... but today I used Photoshop to turn it black and white, well chocolate, well whatever, neutral tone you want to call it, I call it interesting and it fits nicely with the album. So there.
